So what do you guys want with the nextbox
-
I need a price point of at least 350 Hardware on par with the PS4, that thing looks much powerful than the Wii U, 720 needs to at least get as close as the 360 got to the PS3 Free Xbox Live or Xbox Live needs to offer as much as PSN Plus Offers I disagree with exclusives, but we need to have great launch titles or I ain't buying. The PS4 already has some great titles announced that I would buy in a heartbeat.

These guys claimed Sony whipped out their big black dick. This is not true. Sony kept it in their pants and just told us it's huge and the ladies will love it.
-
- Needs more exclusives (The current Xbox ones are all a joke. Gears of War is mildly decent, though could go bad fast) - Sweeten XBL to make it feel like I'm getting something for my money, or separate it so Online Support is free and Gold has the perks and apps for those who use them. - Better be sleek.
-
If M$ is going to charge for XBLA(which they will...) Netflix needs to be packaged with it. Considering I'm paying for XBL online passes need to GTFO. I wouldn't mind seeing a free arcade game per month. It would be nice to have anew game to look forward to each month. Maybe even classic Xbox titles such as Halo 2, Oddworld, Fusion Frenzy, Black, etc.. Wouldn't it be nice to receive games like that every month? A large starting HDD is a must. No more 4 GB bs. If could count the amount of times I've been at Gamestop and a customer is asking if they REALLY need a bigger HDD for XBL. If they are trying to move into the digital age we should be paying for these digital titles that we want to play. We shouldn't be spending that money to upgrade. The smallest starting HDD should be 150GB. If they eventually try to sell an "arcade" console 50GB is the absolute lowest they should go.
-
Lots of talk about free XBL. I can't say I'll buy a new Xbox if I have to pay for live and buy an overpriced faulty console again... mind you I don't really want to move to Playstation either so... eh.

Edited by omg a bannana: 2/27/2013 12:00:46 AMFor it to not be shit. Also I don't really care what it's going to have since it'll probably be loaded to the brim with gimmicks. I'm moving to Play station

Lots of good MMO/RPG games.
-
Free Online Very small or almost nonexistent failure rate Decent price point Standard functions that every other device has (no built-in wireless with the first 360s? Then you want to charge me $100 for an adapter?) ACTUAL 1080p Charge-able controllers, no batteries No update restrictions, taking 3 months to update a game so it's not completely broken is unjustifiable No used-game restriction No always-online All of the above should be standard in a game console, not features so much as things everyone else does that you should do too. Other than that, these would be nice More exclusives Built in or packaged with Kinect Less or no ads Better support for indie games No Microsoft points, just regular money Screenshot/video taking function, can directly import files to PC More publisher support for risky games or new IPs Chances are I will not be buying a Nextbox

The only thing I want is free online, if not then it's ps4 for me. Not that I'll be buying either console off the bat though, for both financial reasons and the fact that I simply do not want to make my mind up without them being out for a while.

- More exclusives - Free XBL OR - Better XBL. Things like free netflix, free hulu, no ads, less expensive DLC, stuff like that.
-
More Marketplace sales. More events. Xbl price cut in half or free.

Edited by BerzerkCommando: 2/26/2013 5:17:25 PM-Free live. -A service like PS+. -Fully supported 360 games. I find it dumb that certain Xbox games are compatible and the guide is disabled for them. I know the Xbox didn't have a button like that, but how hard would it be though to make it work? When you do use the button the screen comes up saying it's disabled. So they already did make it work for it. I think they were to lazy to actually make it work. -The controllers to look like the image I linked. More buttons would allow more functions in games and it allows you to map the default buttons to those extra buttons.

I'm looking forward to this. But seriously, if Micro$oft keep viewing the Xbox as a "Media Hub" Instead of a gaming console (wich will be the case) I'll just probably stick with PS4.

Edited by brandorobot: 2/26/2013 6:36:24 PMThe only things I want for sure are just obvious anyway. Better hardware meaning better graphics and less limitations.
-
A system that doesn't have a nickname for the fact that it fails. So no Red Ring of Death. Some new games. Tired of repetitive games. Multiplayer on Xbox live to be free and all the other crap that I don't need should cost money. A decent amount of Kinect games that I actually want to play... There is more but if they don't at least do something I am buying a PS4.
-
I would like to say the subscription is actually a good idea and should be kept, I mean look at Sony they are struggling and the hacking of PSN didn't help them either. And look at Microsoft having a cash flow coming in from its xbox live user's which allows them to keep the security top notch, sure some hackers get through but I don't remember XBL being taken down by hackers.
-
On par with PS4 hardware, better value for XBL gold members and some good exclusives. Microsoft better have 2 processors so it can do background downloading and updating like PS4. Now Halo isn't what it used to be I have nothing holding me from buying a PS4. I'm buying a gaming laptop soon but most of my friends play on console so I want at least one of the new generation consoles.
-
Free XBL, although paying around £1 a month isn't a major deal.
-
A true app ecosystem for indie games. Something like the app stores for Apple and Android. They need to keep games priced at $1-3 (no free). Also, stop locking crap behind the Gold account paywall. It is absurd that you have to be a Gold subscriber to stream Netflix, Hulu and Amazon Prime. What other set top box requires customers to pay a subscription to the manufacturer? Roku? Boxee? Apple TV? None of them!
