Sometimes I wonder how many times I should train my biceps. Once, twice, THREE times a week? And then what exercise should I do once it is biceps day? I'm not here to tell you I curl 200 lbs, cause that's ridiculous. Just the routine. Oh btw I'm limited to dumbbells and a barbell.

I do push-ups, does that help biceps?

Never.

EOD. Upper body one day, then lower body the next. Rinse and repeat throughout week. I usually take Sunday off as a day of rest , but even then, i sling a disc or two at the local disc golf course during Ace Pot League play.

Twice a week. On the heavy day, I do 2-3 reps at about 65-70 on each arm. On the light day, I do about 12-15 at about 15-20 on each arm. Each 3 sets and that's just for the dumbbells. For machine, I do the curling machine and do drop sets. 10 at 65, then 10 at 55, 10 at 45, all the way down to 0, no breaks.

once every 5 days

Usually three times a week I workout with my dumbbells/go to the rec for bench presses. I have crew team practice 6 times a week, which also works out your upper body

Edited by HurtfulTurkey: 2/26/2013 6:18:13 AMOnce a week; sometimes twice when my schedule overlaps at the end of the week. Pick 6 of these exercises and do 3 sets of 12 reps.

You should do more than just biceps (and arms). Only doing a few exercises is a bad idea, aesthetically and medically.

About once a week. However, due to track, I'm mainly doing body-weight exercises and whatnot right now.

Biceps shouldn't really be one of your top priorities. I throw in a few sets of hammer/regular curls on back day and then maybe again on some other random day.

Mine have evolved into Triceps. Can't wait for the Quadceps. I might finally be able to beat the gym leader.

Everyday is upperbody day.

Every night before bed.

Quite often...they can do backflips now.
