As we know, the one major complaint of the PS3 was the launch price, now I am considering moving from Xbox to PlayStation (Many reasons, mostly opinion).
However, the price may worry me, I have about $300 in the bank, and I can certainly earn more. However, if it's more than $700, I'm not biting.
I'm worried Live will raise in price, so it's a lose/lose situation.
PS. I would switch to PC but nobody I know plays PC.

If it were to be priced at $600 now I don't think it would be as much a cluster-blam!- as it was in 2006. Tablets reach that price and nobody bats an eye. Granted, they're completely different technologies here, but I just think people would handle it better. Of course, this all depends on what the Nextbox is priced at. A difference >$100 would probably be an awful start for Sony in the next generation.
