I want to punch the shit out of that douchebag right now.
I've been doing a Halo campaign run on Legendary. Reach and CE were pretty easy, but I've struggled with Halo 2. -blam!-ing Regret is killing me. I spent like 2 hours just in the temple trying to kill him. I've been killing the Elites using the noob combo, and then punching Regret. I've probably managed to get on his chair and punch him like two times now. Every time I get on his chair, more Elites with -blam!-ing dual plasma rifles spawn and kill me right when I get off. So how the hell do I kill him?????
-
Punching him, obviously.
-
I just remember rushing the shit out of him and going crazy until it finally worked. That's basiclly the gist of the whole campaign is just spray bullets and grenades everywhere until it finally works. I remember Regret being bad but nothing made me Rage harder than the Heretic leader.

Snipe him with all the beam rifles in the map, then use all the honor guards swords to soften him up. Then when he's weak, you punch him.
-
How the -blam!- do I mute an obvious alt?
-
I bet Bungie regrets making this boss fight.
-
That took me forever, just keep trying. You need to board him like four or five times.

Edited by Blue Jess: 2/22/2013 11:03:33 PMI ignore the enemies and bumrush him. If no one has sight of you then you might get a check point during the fight (or might not, last time I played I ran past the three regular elites outside so maybe I had a pending checkpoint). It'll take many attempts to go through three or four teleports without being dumped into a group of enemies or getting Regret splasered or getting stabbed or leaving Regret alone for too long as he seems to die faster if he doesn't get a chance to catch his breath (but maybe I'm imagining things).

Isn't it obvious? You keep punching him.

You have to let Regret let you kill him man. Then peace will be restored to the force again.
