They will get most CoD junkies and other generic military gamers to buy their product, just because it looks like what they have played. I probably found out about Overstrike and its change to Fuse around 3 months back (I think). Overstrike looked amazing, but Fuse looks dull and boring. -
The gaming world needs more games that don't take themselves so seriously. This would've been epic, and if they could've gotten that same feel of cooperation in multiplayer, different guns working together kinda thing, it would've been really cool.

Basically, Overstrike garnered absolutely zero interest. In a desperate attempt to change something, Insomniac figured that the "childish" style of Overstrike was to blame, so they hit the redo and thus we have this. Unfortunately for Insominaic, no one cares about Fuse either. Insominiac, I think, are simply are out of sync, having pumped out nothing of note since Resistance 3, and Resistance 3 was not remarkable either. However, I truly think that if they tried Resistance 4 on PS4, they would finally nail the ambition with the franchise that quite frankly has never been realized.

Blame the new generation of gamers not EA. When Insomniac did their initial focus tests for the game their subjects said the game looked to kiddy.
