Games you think are overrated and underrated
Simply, What games you think get more coverage, overhyped and attention than the game deserves based on how good it really is?
What games are great games that are kinda like hidden gems because not a lot of people know about them or they don't give it the credit it deserves?
I think Diablo 3 had to much fans than it should. To me it feels like a PC exclusive that plays like a console hack and slash. Now its being ported to PS3/PS4 so I guess I'm right.
Underrated I don't really know, So I'll just squeeze in Earthbound because its more popular now than when it was released.

Illusion of Gaia is completely underrated. For the Super Nintendo. (Illusion of Time in Europe)

Overrated goes to Bioshock, I've tried to enjoy it but it plays like a low budget game in my opinion. Underrated is Spec Ops the line, it didn't do well in the sales but if you see it next time you're in a game store then grab a copy, the storyline is fantastic.

BFME2: Rise of the Witch-king, good multiplayer.

Super Metroid is overrated. It gets unreal praise, but I really don't see what's so good about it compared to nearly every other game in the series. Metroid Prime 2: Echoes gets a lot of criticism, but I thought it was amazing, so I'll say that game is underrated. Also, an unrelated game, Metal Arms: Glitch in the System, is underrated by virtue of being a great game that no one knows exists.

My over-underrated is actually connected. I think Grand Theft Auto IV got a lot of undeserved praise for what I thought were clunky driving and shooting mechanics and annoying mission structure. On the flipside, I thought Sleeping Dogs which everyone dismissed as a GTAIV clone was pretty amazing with great driving, shooting and fighting mechanics.

Duke Nukem Forever is not as bad as I thought it would be and same with Modern Warfare 3, Worms, and Black Ops 2. I kinda liked Brink and Need for Speed Hot Pursuit. I don't like Halo.
