PlayStation 4... Worth it?
I know that like many of you that are super excited for Sony's new console the "PlayStation 4", there are those who think it's not that big of a deal. Many of us are waiting eagerly for the mammoth's arrival! What does it mean that Sony announced so early it's new baby? How come we haven't heard anything from Microsoft? Are you guys going to buy the PS4? Little questions that lead to the big answer! Who is going to be the King of Gaming this Generation?

The only reason I got a 360 was because of Halo, but now that its gone down the drain I have no reason to stay. Unless they announce a bunch of new IPs. But its a shame that M$ fails at every gaming conference...

I'm going to hold back on decisions until Microsoft comes out with their new console. You'd think that Microsoft would be the one to jump the gun in announcing a new product before Sony.

8 RepliesTo me, it seems like the next generation of consoles are boiling into steamy garbage. I was expecting alot more out of the PS4 than what Sony showed with the PS4. The controller, for example, looks like I can snap it with my hand on accident. My hopes aren't high for the new Xbox/Xbox 720/Durango/Whatever MS is going to call it because they have been going in a downward spiral of crap too *cough* Windows 8 *cough*. Not to mention that the PS4's specs and (alleged)Xbox ???'s specs are striking similar. They're both using AMD CPUs and GPUs. That alone should say that all they're doing now is trying to one-up one another. They're both essentially the same thing with a different flavor to it

I'm going to be buying the 'XBOX' as I have all of my friends on XBL and I don't know anyone who plays on Playstation. Plus it should be backwards compatible, unlike the PS4.

PS4's share functionality is going to be exciting but also scary. What if the net get's flooded with tons of shared moments, how are we going to filter out the stuff that's actually worth it? ■

There's still a lot we need to know about the PS4 to make a sound decision. The biggest of them is the price.

I'm waitinf for 1) Price of the PS4 2) M$'s new console Then I will make my decision. I'm most likely gonna go the route of the PS4 though....because it seems so damn cool, but let's see what M$ has in store. It'll be hard for them to 1 up Sony.
