I personally believe that jealously is an emotion. I have many times felt jealously for something or someone, whether it be because of materialistic desire, or a girl flirting with another guy. But of course, when consciously thinking about jealously, I always thought that its not a big deal. We are all humans, and we experience emotions such as jealousy just like we do depression, happiness and anger. We experience emotions and they're beyond our control, we can be depressed about something, and no matter what you do, whether you deny it or not, you will still feel that emotion. So that's why jealousy has never been a big deal for me, but I digress;
What do you think?

I don't often like using the term "jealous" I prefer "envy" because people usually confuse jealously with hating someone for having something you don't. I would never hate someone for something so petty, but sadly, a lot of people do.
