Couldn't think/don't know the name given to the health care which is owned by the private sector, but I imagine people will get what I mean.
Anyway, out of these two health care systems, which one do you support more?
-
I like whatever Health care Doctors take seriously and will help me when i need Medical attention. So i'll let you guys choose for me... Also -blam!- waiting lists...
-
Yeah I'd rather pay for my own health care and not some other guy's. It's my money to waste, not someone else's.
-
I would love to see a taxpayer-subsidized healthcare system that gave the same quality care as the current US system.
-
My parents shouldn't have to pay for other peoples healthcare when our own healthcare is so damn high. If someone has cancer in your family, you shouldn't have to pay for others
-
capitalist, with some changes. universal costs too much
-
Selfish vs selfless. That's what it comes down to.
-
Private health care, you mean?

well, imma socialist, soooo... (the first one)
-
The more fiscally successful you are, the more expensive socialized healthcare gets. I can't imagine why people wouldn't support a private healthcare system. The thing that bugs the shit out of me is that so many "poor" people still own relatively decent cars and decent things (e.g. good televisions, etc.). They shouldn't be receiving shit in entertainment or non-necessities if they say they can't afford their own healthcare.
-
Universal, we have to help those Martians! Sorry, couldn't resist.
-
Socialized of course, capitalist systems are inherently exploitative. It's also cheaper per capita.
-
Universal. I rather pay more in taxes than have a bunch of people paying an arm and a leg to make sure their lives aren't cut short.
-
A mix of the two. There really is no argument for exclusively either. It's quite simple to have a public option while supplying extended coverage to citizens who can afford to pay more. Take a look at the system implemented in Australia.

Edited by TheBrandingIron: 2/22/2013 2:23:13 AMCapitalist but it needs a lot of reform and I don't have the energy to type out all of my fixes for it. But it does need tort reform. Lawyers and malpractice are a huge problem. Lots of expensive, but often times unnecessary testing is done defensively.

Capitalist lol Liberals who want to steal money from hard working Americans and give to the lazy. Poor people got themselves there, and didn't do anything about it, just whined for you pussy liberals to shower them in love and flowers and coins. Probably same people who think minorities should be superior and want to have disregard religioun and tradition so homos can marry. You people are stupid. You're in the wrong country if you want minorities and homos running around getting money for nothing.
-
Both.
-
Hybrid system
-
Why not both? Universal healthcare so nobody is left to die, with higher-quality private care available to those with the money. Everybody wins.
-
People with a basic understanding of health care markets know universal health insurance is a more efficient system and vastly cheaper. Forget the morality. The universal system, in some form because they aren't all the same, is cheaper more efficient and covers everyone. It's shocking to hear that for some people. It's actually cheaper to cover everyone than having a private market where customers buy from insurance providers.
-
My only problem with the socialization of healthcare is that it vastly cuts doctors' pay. If there was one profession that certainly should make a lot of money, that is it.
-
Universal.
-
Stupid Americans. Obviously universal.
-
Private sector.
-
Generally, capitalist healthcare. However, for diseases to be efficiently cured, state research would have to be funded. Everything else, though, such as medicine, should be provided by the free market.
