I'm as excited about Destiny as everyone else is, but I believe a PC release is in order, considering PC's are much more modular than consoles are. I am not a PC fanatic nor do I hate consoles, but with the current state of the 720 and PS4 and the information (although most are just rumors) stating that there will be limited backwards compatibility, restricted if any playability of used games, and required internet connections. Not all of the news is bad, as both the PS4 and 720 will have massively boosted hardware specs and increased functionality. You can also expect them to be hard on your wallet, though no information has been released about the pricing, we can assume from what the 360 and PS4 cost at launch that they will not come cheap. I don't plan on buying a 720 or PS4, but I do plan on switching over to PC later this year. I feel it will be better in the long run to drop about $1,200 (even if that is a large sum of money) than to have to buy a new $400-$500 console that will be outmoded in a few years anyway. I would prefer to play Destiny on PC rather than on a console. Besides, I would like to see Bungie return the their roots on the PC.
