So Flood, I've been looking at some laptops for gaming because.. I'm going to get one. I've been considering an Alienware laptop because well.. it's Alienware, but I've also been looking at some other cheeper ones at Best buy. Any recommendations from the Flood\the general what should I be looking for in a gaming laptop?

1) What's your price range? 2) If you can, get a desktop. It's more powerful and cheaper. 3) never buy from Alienware. They over price ALL of their products.

First I must ask, why do you want to get a gaming laptop? Why not build a desktop? Much cheaper, more powerful, and easily upgradeable. Now if you must go down this path of getting a gaming laptop, please stay away from Alienware. They make terrible products ever since they were bought by Dell and have only been worse with crappy off brand chips. If you want to purchase from a boutique gaming computer company, I personally would recommend looking at Digital Storm. They have reasonable prices and excellent customer service + community over there. Good luck.

Edited by What Is This1: 2/20/2013 1:11:07 AMOP post a price range and I will tell you where to go. Also Alienware is a terrible choice due to how much they are overpriced by. You are essentially paying at least $200-300 just for the looks.

Get an Asus. They aren't over priced and are actually good.
