Bungie, It has been a long time since we have seen you, and I think I speak for all of us when I say that you are a breath of fresh air to the gaming industry. Everything is so old, and played out, (not naming any titles, don't worry ;3) so it;s nice to see one of the tried and true companies out there come back with a big title. We have high hopes for your return, and we eagerly await our Destiny!

I think, only recently, I realized that I have always been a committed Bungie fan... I suppose I should explain. I jumped on the bandwagon when Halo and Bungie were synonymous. And, for this reason, Halo to me meant high-quality, high involvement, and level headed design. It was the reason I placed my eggs in the Microsoft basket; I only had originally bought ... well, it was the reason my parents bought me an Xbox. They got me young; I was hooked. I considered myself a "Halo" fan not really a Bungie fan. Halo 2 and Halo ODST are some of my favorite games of all time, and I could argue why they were some of the best ever made even if I was faced with something saying otherwise. They committed to a universe which they created and I was ready to follow that universe anywhere. Anyway, a couple months ago a new company released a Halo game. It wasn't made by Bungie, but it was a company dedicated to an IP I loved. That game was the biggest video game let down I've ever had. I can't say I expected the best game ever, quite the contrary really... But, it wasn't Halo as I knew it. I don't know why it didn't seem to dawn on me until recently, but the missing link was obvious: that game wasn't a Bungie game. This, though. Destiny? I am excited. This sounds like a Bungie game. This looks like a Bungie game. I now leave this up to fate. I will watch attentively as details follow. Is Destiny the "sequel" I've waited for? I'll have to wait and see. Either way, it's great to see them back at it.
