A bunch of gaming press pay hundreds of dollars to fly out to Seattle only to be giving extremely vague details without being allowed to play the game or even see the game played. About 90% of the details of the game that were discussed were already known from previous sources. This game has been in development for almost six years, and they can't show us anything else? This is why it seems strange to me that this isn't going to be a next-gen game. If it was coming to current-gen consoles (which Bungie has stated), then wouldn't they want to get the game in the light as soon as possible? With the PS4 announcement coming up in a few days, and the Xbox announcement coming in a few months, gamers are going to start looking to the next generation rather than buying games for current-gen consoles that won't be playable on the new systems.
Don't get me wrong, from the details that have been released, I think it sounds like a really interesting game, and I only expect the best from Bungie, but this marketing stunt seemed to leave a sour taste in a lot of journalist mouths, and I don't blame them at all.

Nope not disappointed at all. A lot more information was reveled than I thought there would be, and the stuff that was been talked about and shown has got my imagination running wild.
