Personally, I'm kind of excited for this. This tablet will probably be around the same price as an Android tablet, but will give you the full performance of a desktop.
now why do I say this? because ubuntu is open source and free, and Ubuntu is a desktop OS. So there's a lot you can do with a desktop OS in a tablet form factor. Again...I'm excited.
How about you? What are your thoughts on this?

Is the tablet more similar to the desktop OS or the mobile OS? The reason I ask is that canonical says this: [quote]When complete, the same Ubuntu code will deliver a mobile, tablet, desktop or TV experiences depending on the device it is installed on, or where it is docked.[/quote] but then they write the mobile OS in QML, which is absent from ubuntu's desktop OS.
