Edited by gruntythirst77: 2/18/2013 4:17:20 AMMicrosoft is losing it in my humble opinion. They seem completely out of touch with what their pc consumer base really wants, and/or are just trying too hard to capitalize on ideas that make other companies successful. Let's just hope their xbox division keeps their head above water with their next gen system.

Edited by ABotelho: 2/18/2013 3:47:21 AMFrom what I've heard, Windows Blue is supposed to be a update-based type of system for Windows. Instead of releasing a new operating system every 3+ years, they're supposed to bring updates at shorter intervals such as 6, 9, 12 months. The price would obviously be smaller for updating. It makes sense, because it ensures cash flow is more constant and improvements can be introduced sooner.

it better be free

HAH! I knew this would happen. Windows 8 UI was made for tablets not desktops, and yet they justified releasing it on all platforms. IMHO that is.
-
So they finally realized nobody like the UI, huh?
-
Oh so they finally realized that windows 8 was endangering the whole company.
