Each system (computers and counsels) has their perks. Each system has games that the other doesn't. However, crying over spilled milk leads to nowhere as many of us know.
Destiny seems like a game that PC players should want to play, but on a counsel. If you're willing to limit your gaming experience because it's not on the platform of choice, you're going to miss out, especially with this game.
To me, Destiny is going to be a game changer in the video game relm. Does this mean that it will be successful? No. But who knows at this point. All I can say is that it will be worth your time to participate because games won't be the same after this.

One insult I see being hurled around at PC cross platform games is that they always become "consolized" and no longer play very well on PC's. Here's a game explicitly developed with integrating their features in a way that works for consoles. It's meant for them and not PC. This is not a good or bad thing it's just the way the game is designed.

I don't want to limit myself to a low visual quality game that only consoles can bring.

Edited by jkamelo: 2/18/2013 1:50:48 AMThe way I see it is that PC generally has the advantage. So on the one occasion that console gamers get something that looks superior, the PC dudes lose their minds. That being said, I also think that Destiny should be on PC

I agree with you OP. I saw the game Ni No Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch, and the Last of Us, I didn't have a PS3, but decided that these games were worth getting a PS3 for. These games look and (as for Ni No Kuni) are spectacular. I was a little sad to see them exclusive for PS3, but I bucked up and got the platform to play them. Stop being butthurt and buck up. Don't let an amazing game experience that you really want to play slide away because your ego is to big, because your elitism gets in the way.

I largely agree. Particularly when people react so negatively to the prospect that it won't be on a PC. We don't know yet, and even if it turns out not to be released on a PC, whiny, bitter and entitled moaning won't fix that. PC gamers should be trying to stay positive, and convince Bungie that the PC market is still a good one. By reacting so negatively, I think they're just alienating themselves, and the PC market in general, and making them all look bad. Look, I want a PC version of Destiny too. I think it would be a huge mistake and wasted opportunity to ignore PCs and Macs, but I will say so proactively, in the hope that Bungie recognizes that. Just cutting yourself off and bitching about it won't do anything but make me, and people like me think its a good thing that some people won't be joining us.

It will absolutely not be a game changer. Not on current gen hardware. You can't do what they're promising, otherwise someone would have already done it. Simple as that.

I agree. How they are going at it is not helping anything.

Amen brotha!
