With the recent figuring out of the ARG, we unlocked this.
This is (almost) certainly a track from Destiny's soundtrack, thoughts guys?

Sounds like something you would hear in KOTOR.
-
New main menu music. It's like the first time I heard the Halo Theme in the Halo CE menu.
-
I can't help but get the feeling of chill and wind from the beginning of the song, and I'm pretty sure that's intentional. Note the name of the sound file, "eighth.mp3". This is Neptune's song.
-
I feel...different. Like I was lifted into the heavens and whisked away by the whimsical sonic sensation that filled my ears with delight. More, I say, more!
-
Sounds like Fable
-
My body is ready for more.
-
Really enjoying video game music in general at the moment, so this should be an awesome soundtrack to add to my collection!
-
MARTY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I MISSED YOU!
-
And just like that, Marty returns.
-
This just made me day, trying to hold back tears :')
-
Sound like it'll fit the theme to Destiny for sure! Makes me look forward to it even more! :)
-
Sounds really good! For some reason, it reminds me of the "Starry Night" trailer from Halo 3.
-
The music is not what I was expecting, but it fits Destiny's feel very, very well. I hope Marty's music is as great and memorable as Halo's.
-
I'm listening to it in an infinite loop until the reveal.
-
Pretty

Edited by kgj: 2/17/2013 4:58:37 PMWas anybody else... sort of disappointed by the track? Honestly? I mean it sounds good, but it doesn't sound as good as previous Marty. *flamesuit* I liked Halo 4's music a lot more (then again, this is just one track...)
-
Its great.
-
-blam!-ing AMAZING!
-
Almost sepulchral in its mystery. It also really makes me nostalgic for the 80's London punk and goth scene for some odd reason.
Man, I'm getting really freaking old!
-
It sounds great!
-
I thought it sounded great! One big thing that im super pumped up for which im not usually interested in is the music in this game becuz of Bungie working with Paul McCartney(the guitarist in the Beatles), which is one of my favorite musicians
-
This immediately came to mind hearing the sample. (this is a good thing)

Edited by SoapySuds: 2/17/2013 4:32:26 PMI can picture myself wondering about on a snowy mountain at night, with shiny stars overhead, as I make my way towards a majestic shrine of great importance.
-
Well it's 100% better than that #wailing woman shit I had to listen to at the start of... dat game.
-
That was... Really, really, REALLY good. God damn, this is happening, isn't it?
