Please no spoilers as I haven't seen or read any of it. I want a fresh experience. All I know is that The Hobbit is a prequel to the LOTR series. Should I watch the originals first or watch The Hobbit first?
PS; if you have to wonder if its a spoiler or not, it is, don't say it.

Yeah you can watch the Hobbit movies first. They end where the first LOTR begins.
-
Read the books the way you like, then watch LOTR. Do not watch the Hobbit "trilogy."

Book.

Watch The Lord of the Rings before The Hobbit. But if you plan on reading the books, read The Hobbit before The Lord of the Rings.

Watch the Originals, then the Hobbit.

I found the LOTR books pretty tedious in parts. Hobbit is a good story though. I haven't actually seen it yet, but as it's a part of a trilogy, you may as well watch LOTR first, instead of seeing part of a story only to begin another right away.

It really doesnt matter how you do it. Technically it starts with the hobbit. But you could watch them exactly how the rest of the world did.

Read the Hobbit first and then read the LOTR trilogy. After you are done reading them watch all the movies starting with LOTR, thats how i would do it.
