Those videos are crazy as hell. Fortunately, nobody has so far been confirmed injured or killed.

Current reports now seem to indicate that the main object itself broke up in the lower atmosphere prior to impact, but smaller pieces did in fact impact, though not in populated areas. The reported injuries caused by this event, now estimated in the thousands, seem to be almost all as a result of the low-altitude sonic boom caused by the object's movement through the atmosphere over Chelyabinsk, which shattered most of the windows in the town.
