Would you be fine with a gay roommate?
If you have the same sex as them and are straight? Would you act differently around them if they weren't gay?
I am doing a report on this so I am going to use this thread for statistics. It sucks that they got rid of polls. If you want you can give reasons too so I can quote people in my report.

I know I'm nitpicking something totally off-topic, but you're gonna get a shitty grade if you make it seem like voluntary response data is in any way an accurate sample of the population. OT: Not particularlily. I'd probably accept it, but our views and interests would likely differ... a lot. And now that I think about it more, I think I'd prefer having a friend that's interested in the same shit I am, which correlates strongly with going out and doing straight stuff.

10 RepliesWell, if the question is stating "Do i agree with the person being Gay" Then i would i have to say i would disagree with their life-choice. if the question was "Do you feel comfortable with being roomed with a Gay roommate" Well, if he wasn't attracted to me and he wasn't constantly making out with other dudes, then i wouldn't mind to much.

I was watching a show on Investigation Discovery. A guy was sick and his roommate was tending to him. The one tending to him was gay and liked his roommate but the other guy was straight. After he got better, he got together with a girl and his roommate didn't like it so he killed the girl by stabbing over 94 times. Jealousy sucks but this fortunately doesn't happen often.

Depends on their personality, really. I don't care who you bang, but I hate that stereotypical flamboyant personality. I know not every gay guy falls into that stereotype, but I've met many who did and only some who did not.

No. I don't like having a roommate. His sexuality doesn't have anything to do with it. All of my roommates have been straight and living with them has been a pain in the ass.

As long as he has his own seperate bedroom I don't care what he does in his personal life. But that goes for anyone i need my own space. Also as long as he is neat and quiet then he's awesome in my book.
