Campaign/Storywise: Halo Series going through Chronologically: Reach, 1, 2, first couple missions of 3, Halo3: ODST, Last missions of 3. CoD: Modern Warfare Series. CoD: WaW. Borderlands Series. Final Fantasy. RDR. Assassins Creed (at least the Ezio storyline) The Elder Scrolls games Left 4 Dead The Warcraft Games Pokemon. Multiplayer wise: Halo 3 in its prime. CoD: MW2 Battlefield MineCraft I'm sure there are more I just can't remember.

Terraria! Cheap, and with a quick pass by the wiki you're well on your way to spending hundreds of hours playing one of the simplest, yet deepest games I've ever played. So much fun, so satisfying, and not to mention a great creative / artistic outlet. PS it's not Minecraft at all. Only a little bit. 2d Minecraft with better goals.

Its interesting going through the thread and seeing which games people agree on. I think I'll add FTL to this list. I'd never played a game like it before, and it satisfies a gap in my gaming enjoyment I didn't know I had.
