What are your favorite games that you played when you were younger?
Why were they fun? What memories did they create?
For myself, my first game was in the Pokemon series. I had played Pokemon Silver, and it was a blast. I loved having newer Pokemon from the originals, and then I loved when I found out that you can go to the Kanto region later in the game.
Another game I loved to play was Ty the Tasmanian Tiger. Which I had gotten into playing from a friend. I loved the open world aspect that game had, it led to a variety of ways to play the game, as well as mess around.
I also enjoyed games from the Legend of Zelda series.
Later on I got into playing Halo. It was a great adventure because the Sci-fi aspect was similar to the Fantasy aspect I loved seeinig in games and movies. I enjoyed the large scale world the game had to offer. From it countless memories have developed through both playing with friends and by my self.
Let me hear your stories (and if you want, recommend some games to me, i would love to play 'em).

Edited by Xmark120: 2/16/2013 9:37:42 AMA competitive TV show, that was about playing a game through your phone as a controller introduced me to gaming ( it was called Hugo. ) My first video game was commander Keen when I was around 3 ( 1996 ). I got into gaming, because of my neighbor, that I got to watch while he was playing Doom with his cousin. When my family bought the first PC ( 1996 ) my parents called their old school friend, that was also into gaming, to set it up. I mentioned to him that i'd like to also be able to play games on it, so he got me some games on it like: commander Keen 1 - 4, Zool, Prehistoric...

Goldeneye Halo 2 The Hobbit Star Wars: Pod Racer (That shit was legit! Hahaha!) There was a Batman game I played a lot that I can't remember the title of. Vengeance, I think. Ace Combat 4 Games weren't my thing . . . I was outside more. My oldest brother would always take me and some other kids from our church to the park to Lightsaber fight, or have these huge, epic, outdoor action figure quests. Haha, good times.

Edited by Jacoby04: 2/16/2013 2:36:58 AMPretty much every big Nintendo 64 game I played. OoT, Mario Kart, Donkey Kong 64, Banjo Kazooie, Diddy Kong Racing, Majora's Mask, Star Fox 64, and more. I also played most big Super Nintendo games. We actually got a 64 going about two feet to my left in my dorm right now. My buddy is trying to beat the last level against Bowser on Super Mario 64. Also, #nostalgia
