Here's a .gif of some of the data we've used since the new day went up. As you can see there were a lot of initial nodes when the new images came out, but those died out over time. You can also see more nodes activate as the east coast wakes up. This, to me, proves that nodes will not stay active throughout the day and it also highlights the need for multiple users from around the world to keep their nodes activated throughout the day, as the mask fluctuates constantly (more users = more data per fluctuation).
