Well, this is all fun and exciting, but why would you guarantee us a reveal?
The holy sh1t factor when I get on my computer and see the waves of information about it would probably have been on par with what I felt when Mass Effect 3 was revealed (too bad it ended up being my greatest disappointment in gaming history).
Hoping for some Halo easter eggs/references throughout the games.

They have been "dark" for, what, over a year now? They last published a game in 2010. The date for a formal announcement seems to be to let the world know that they have been working on something, something that they are ready to show in just a few days and they want people to be excited (who were not already excited).
-
I hope we get to see some gameplay and not like the Skyrim announcement trailer
-
This! Holy crap if the trailer is Live Action/CG I'm going to be disappointed.
-
I doubt this very much. They are going to show something.
-
Is that sarcasm?
-
it's already confirmed
-
What's confirmed?
-
Destiny was announced today, check the home page. Sunday we'll get the first look of the game.
Destiny was announced today, check the home page. Sunday we'll get the first look of the game.
Yes, I'm in full knowledge of that. I'm just saying that guaranteeing we'll get the first look on Sunday takes some of the fun out of the ARG.
-
Yeah a little, but maybe there's something in the ARG that is worthy of solving it. :P
-
Destiny's reveal.
-
But the exact date was confirmed yesterday, if I'm not mistaken. I just think it takes some of the fun out of the ARG.
-
No...yesterday was all about the ARG.
