Seriously WTF. Why wouldn't Emmett Brown say to Marty 30 years later: "Sup man, you were in the past, you actually gave me the idea for the time machine and saved my life with that letter"
And why wouldn't Lorraine think when her child had grown up like: "WTF this guy looks exactly like Marty, the guy I liked 30 years ago and suddenly disappeared."

Why do you think he has the bullet proof vest on when the Libyans shoot at him? Pretty sure he knows that Marty in the present is the Marty from the past, but he can't let him know until he actually goes back in time, otherwise the time line would be screwed up. I wouldn't be surprised if that was the reason that Emmet Brown had Marty working for him in the first place, a causal loop.

30 years is a long time to remember a face. If my memory serves me, Marty never had any photos taken of him in the past, so his parents had to remember his face. If they ever noticed any similarities, they would probably put it down to coincidence because there is no way that their son could have been alive back then (to their knowledge).

Back to the Future: Why doesn’t Marty’s mom recognize her son as the guy who…you know…she tried to sleep with years before?! I feel like it would be pretty hard to forget someone who came into your life for a week and completely changed it. Yeah, this came up on thechive about a week ago. Some of them blew my mind.

They MUST do a director's cut with all those explanations.

Why the hell would Doc Brown take Marty and Jennifer to the future to save their kid?
-
Answer: It's a film, deal with it.

For your first question. Doesn't Doc get the idea for the time machine after he falls of a ladder? This occurs shortly before he meets Marty (hence why he has a bandage on his head when they first meet) and therefore he knows his idea works. Therefore he already has the idea.
