For future reference guys, I found a guy's site that catalogues every Geomask at all 5 minute increments: http://www.duststorm.org/alphalupi/

if you know the host of that site it might be nice to have the days separated for easy retrieval tomorrow onward. assuming the format doesn't change too much it will save a lot of headache.

Edited by Specops115: 2/12/2013 8:27:25 PMhow often are those grabbed? are they manually grabbed or auto-collected? I think they were using those earlier as well.
-
Auto collected. I check the website every 3 minutes, do a comparison, and save the file if it is new. I then manually update the imgur albums from the collection folders.
-
Sounds good, if someone is able to get an automation for the mask/threshold creation I will be sure to point them your way to see if we can't just save everyone some time.
-
If you give me the steps it takes, I can write the code. What's the workflow for the masks?

Just posted solution

Thanks, I'll check it out.

If you are able to automate it it would be nice if you could just automate a posting of the transformed/masked image to your website just so whoever wants to check can keep an eye on the progress throughout the day.
-
I don't have the means to do that and bind to an album atm.

Just watch for an update from freefall722 (post beneath this - although he may post the solution elsewhere) He is writing one up currently.
