On a Mac so using the ImageJ java application to do it - I then use the image on the right as a mask for the FTT output and do a threshold after that. It gives you a perfectly black and white image that you can layer multiple versions of the output on top of. It's so clean you don't even need to do the horizontal flip trick.

Once you manage to use all of those masks from TTL it would be nice to see a high level walkthrough of how this is done if possible. At least a little more detail of how to create the mask and threshholding.

I downloaded ImageJ and have been working with it but I can't get the second image to mask the other image. Also, I don't even know how to adjust gamma on this app. Not to mention know what thresholding is.
