Someone tried to make a connection with the output chart.

Edited by Specops115: 2/12/2013 4:43:38 PMWhy not try using the number from the first link image: 9.8862748014 as one of the coordinates. I'm not understanding why the coordinates on the image are being used or where these connected red dots are coming from.
-
I think whoever made this found that one of the coordinates pointed at that exact spot and made a dot on it and connected the rest of the images together.
-
I think I am missing something then because I don't know where someone is getting coordinates from at all?
-
Someone played around with the images and got a sequence of numbers. Neogaf, /v/, and Reddit have been posting a bit of these trying to find a pattern or coordinate the charts into something that we can understand or find a deeper meaning.
-
Ken if you're going to keep pulling images from GAF at least credit the source. http://www.neogaf.com/forum/showthread.php?t=512848&page=11
-
Sken, you really gotta credit the proper people from Neogaf / Reddit if you're going to steal their stuff >_>
-
Edited by Spartan Ken 15: 2/12/2013 4:39:50 PMIt is actually from /v/ and I uploaded it here :) Also when you click on the link it says it is from /v/ I never claimed I found it, I will though if I do make one of these things.
-
Also, link please.
-
Not the point, proper internet etiquette (yes I know that's a double negative) to credit your source when borrowing pics. Just a common practice.
-
Edited by Spartan Ken 15: 2/12/2013 5:00:23 PMI did credit my sources, we can sit here and complain and moan or we can analyze the work everyone is trying to do. Either way I am not trying to "steal" anyone elses work so please clam yourself.
-
Alright chill skenny. We're just getting confused where this is all coming from. We're trying to see if any of us are actually putting out work or if we're just yanking from other sites.
-
Edited by Spartan Ken 15: 2/12/2013 5:07:26 PMOkay, I mean I won't post or link anymore stuff I find that could be useful if it is going to make people mad. I made sure to fix the recent pics with sources from their respected areas they originated from.
-
Alright then let's get te werk
-
Really, has no one here ever heard of /v/?
-
What do you mean?
-
4chan.org/v/ It is a horrible place, never ever go there, unless you really feel like it. But it is surprising/good to see they're actually helping.
-
Oh. Very cool.
-
What exactly is this a compilation of. I recognize the area as the land mass associated with the maps floating around and the circles with the current ARG but where are the red dots and lines coming from?
-
Edited by Spartan Ken 15: 2/12/2013 4:33:35 PMI think it points to the location of the Traveler in the Philippines
-
Interesting, I remember seeing some ties to the Philippines about five months ago. Weird that it should pop up again...
-
Likely, but I don't understand why these two things are being combined or where those exact coordinates are coming from.
-
Coincidentally, we noted early on that Lupi is a city in the Philippines. Another odd coincidence or connection.
-
Right, I have been loosely following the map analysis. There doesn't seem to be any real tie to a specific location so it is very likely that the area could have been selected primarily on the inclusion of the city name.
