Are you at all creeped out or afraid of any insects or arachnids? I saw this video the other day on The Flood and couldn't help but wonder how that wouldn't bother even the most manly of men. It's like a Spider Invasion...
-
I've got a weird bug bell curve. Ants, not scary Jumping spiders, not scary Earwigs oh god ewwwww Cockroaches nehhhhghgh 4 inch armor-plated millipede is fine Tarantula is totally cool Rhinoceros beetle is awesome
-
The start of this is very relevant.

I was traveling around Thailand once diving around the islands and I stayed at this one hotel....... in the middle of the night I wake up to go to my bathroom. The door was slightly open. As I approach the door I notice a massive spider, maybe 5 inches across, on the front of the door. It's underside was COVERED IN EGGS. It then walked across the front of the door and around to the inside of the bathroom. I closed the door. I went back to bed, as I no longer needed the toilet.

I am deathly afraid of pretty much all insects, except for stuff like Ladybugs, butterflies, and stuff like that.
-
For me it depends on the day. There are days that bugs don't bother me at all but there are days that they creep the -blam!- out of me. It's really random.
-
Nah, we used to get huge cockroaches in our house when I was little and stomping on the buggers became a favorite pastime.
-
I freaking hate spiders.
-
Just imagine walking at night and not seeing that..
-
I'm afraid of cockroaches. It's almost a Phobia :(

Edited by Expunge: 2/12/2013 5:54:56 PMMostly waterbug roaches. Some spiders. Worms. EDIT: boy I would hate to live there.
-
Depends, I can be creeped out but I won't scream like a little girl, and I don't get why people hate spiders, they're our bros.
-
Id just walk under that with my mouth open because I'm that manly
-
It's silly. Spiders don't scare me but cockroaches do. Probably from that episode of the X-files.
-
Edited by SonOfTheShire: 2/12/2013 3:34:38 PMOnly the icky ones. Like june bugs.
-
Yep they do. I hate bugs
-
Not particularly but I don't like the feelings of them crawling on me. I am fascinated by spiders and I think they are beautiful creatures but I don't want to touch them or hold them or let them crawl over me.
-
No, I kill them for fun.
-
Not particularly, though I freak out if I step on one with a bare foot. Though I think that is just due to the fact that I hate things touching my feet.
-
lolno I used to have a pet tarantula, and in my bug hunting days I handled many large invertebrates like predatory water beetles, centipedes and tiger beetles
-
If they are where they shouldn't be, I will usually kill them. However they don't normally scare me.
-
Only when they squirm as I eat them..
-
As long as they aren't poisonous they don't bother me
-
I have my limits, and can deal with most of them, as long as they aren't too big. That being said one of the worst feelings that makes my skin crawl is having a spruce bug on you. The one in the video is a female, or male, I'm not sure, but I know one of the genders grows much larger than the other, and one has a set of nasty god damn jaws. They're strong enough that they can take skin off and leave scars if anyone ever let them go deep enough. I hate the feel of their legs, they stick to you real easily, it's like you've got to tear the thing off you, and they make a horrid sound when you hold them. Not the ugliest or creepiest, but there's something about them that makes my skin crawl, worse than the largest spider could.

All insects and all other stupid things freak and scare the hell outta me.
-
Depends on the insect. Most do, but I've been trying to cope
-
Just the big ones. Or millipedes. I -blam!-ing hate millipedes.
