See, I'm kind of this hypochondriac, but I don't visit the doctor as often as another person might, I just check the internet, a lot - usually, this leads me nowhere, and unless something bothers me enoguh, I go to the doctor to see what's going on.
But the thing is, how accurate is self-diagonisis if you've read tonnes and tonnes upon one kind of condition/illness? Starting to recognize medical terminology, beginning to find the subtle differences between the two after seeing countless images, yes still unable to accurately say "This is what I have"?
How do I know if I have the right hunch?
The last time I went to the doctors, it was one of the three conditions I had in mind - and turnedout to be the one I felt strongest with. The time before that, years ago, I got it right again - So far, I'm willing to say I'm pretty good with my hunches.
Would anyone say it's possible you can make a pretty accurate self-diagnosis upon reading a lot of different articles and explainations?
