Other things to look at:
-Alpha Lupi's name significance (brightest star of Lupus / also called man)
-Alpha Lupi's Avatar (Script F with infiinity? Infinite Force?)
-Who are the trusted few? Perhaps the one of seven bear some significance?
-The question posed as the thread title: "Or are you falling toward it?" Could this be referencing the idea of force and infinity?

Every point in the Universe is the center. If you off a ladder the earth is actually moving towards you while you remain at rest. But if you were observing the earth you would fall towards it. This is because the universe is expanding. Most people think of the universe as like a balloon being filled with air, this is not the nature of the universe. Therefore every single point in the universe is itself expanding.

If some reference to the word infinity can me solidified, this connection might become relevant. Or I'm going down a rabbit hole.

Hmm, true. My Marathon memory is a tad weak. Though, the symbol in Alpha Lupi's avatar appears to reference infinity. The F is Newtonian and stands for Force. Might be a connection.
