Under Kennedy/LBJ and Clinton, NASA's budget has skyrocketed. If you collectively add up the spending since NASA's creation, democratic presidents have spent more in science than republicans. I just wanted to make this clear.
Furthermore, only 6% of scientists today are republican. Keep in mind this number includes these people.
Lastly I would just like to point out that, despite my thread, people shouldn't be fighting a republican vs democrat internet war, but rather should voice opinions on certain issues and laws, so at the end of the day, we are not a bunch of brainwashed kids arguing towards a specific group.

Bumping so people know the truth and don't buy into Twisted Love's lies.

Politicians should never ever talk about science. They're good at talking, not at working out formulas and experimentation.

>implying all science funding goes to NASA's budget

This was entirely obvious and it certainly didn't need it's own thread. I mean a party which tries to get intelligent design taught, evolution removed that that vaginas can repel sperm depending on teh circumstances on HOW that sperm got in there (a.k.a r@pe) certainly isn't very pro science, is it?
