Take a closer look

Changed a little again.

Alpha Lupi, in chinese "騎官十" or "the Tenth Star of Imperial Guards" It could also mean "the south gate" or "the yang gate" taken from http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alpha_Lupi#Etymology

Edited by GT Stryker: 2/12/2013 1:35:28 AMI tinkered with the image a bit, it's a bit clearer It's really small, someone trying zooming in on it
-
This might come in handy
-
The more I look at the "text" in the left image, the more it looks like a bunch of text overlapped on top of each other.
-
Hey... i don't think is text anymore... is like... a head?
-
Here's what I got.

Edited by Ockeghem: 2/12/2013 1:26:22 AMDONT PANIC! You dont drag and move the diamonds, you click them and they rearrange automatically. I am sure it's a common problem... :-( And I definitely didn't try to drag them several times...in more than one browser...
-
Once More Unto the breach dear friends!
-
Okay, so I went on microsoft word with the left image, and I squished it down as far as I could. The text was more refined at that point, but I couldn't read it as it was too small.
-
It's dying down..
-
Working on it...
-
My image. Can't talk right now due to business.
-
I don't know why but the left image, reminds me of those symbols from the movie "Signs".
-
So do you guys think this is for Bungie's next game, Tigger?
-
I'm basically just documenting slow change at this point lol.
-
If I refresh, does it count as a new viewer? Or does it count by IP?

We are acting as individual Radio Telescopes as part of a global array. Astronomers do this to to get very clear pictures of distant objects in our Galaxy. You can read more into it in the link. There may be more answers in the methodology behind using these arrays.
-
So is this influenced by the number of observers at any given time? We need to organise a viewing to maximise productivity.

I guess the share button is really useful now. If someone could, make a thread and share in r/gaming: http://www.reddit.com/r/gaming/

Edited by Spartan King0013: 2/12/2013 1:15:47 AMI don't think U.V analysis is referring to the cartesian plane. Wikipedia lists UV Mapping (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/UV_mapping) which projects a texture map onto a 3D object. (u, v) refers to the coordinate system used in 2D images. Seems somewhat likely, but I don't have the software to do this.

Edited by TTL Goose: 2/12/2013 1:17:53 AMTakeaways from the quote below are: Vector Space (U,V) Frequency Analysis Parallax (And the distance between observer pairs will be key) Archiving for Study
Note: (x, y) visibility limited. (u, v) analysis might prove useful.

7 - Only the trusted few... Our sky is filled with unseen signals. Radio-frequency emissions pulse and flit and dance all around us. Yet even a singing patch of sky can be observed, and transformed into a range of frequencies. Can you hear it? No, not yet. It has not yet arrived. But together we can receive its call. Imagine combining the observations of thousands across the globe on an object meandering through the heavens. The resulting array would be quite large. Quite powerful. This is your task. Alone it will not be enough. Coordination and timing is needed. Observations must be made simultaneously. Your window will be small. Five minutes at most. But windows may be reopened. And the distance between observer pairs will be key. There will always be limitations in clarity, so the results must be archived for study. Highly technical observers may be required. Detailed frequency analysis is recommended. Everything that belongs to us will be ours, but only if we create the capacity to receive it.
Guys! Look at the images from a distance, you will be able to see it more clearly!

More alterations. More on the left now.
