I have a few suggestions, but first I want to see if we can get an "official thread" going about this topic.
Their are many things about this site that need to be fixed but multiple threads complaining about things that need to be changed won't get anything done. If someone who carries a little more weight around here can create a thread for this it would be great.
One I imagine is someone puts down an idea and if you agree with the change you comment his idea with I agree. Once an idea reaches a certain amount likes it would be put in the original post for Bungie to see.
I love Bungie.net, but this is not the same site as it used to be and many long time members have told me they will leave if things are not changed after the BETA. I want this website to thrive, but their are some needed fixes
Here are some I would like to see.
Give the Ninjas their power back: I know you can mute and hide people now but it doesn't really help when the majority of the threads are religious or political. These threads naturally attract more attention and they remain at the top of the page. Another problem with hiding and muting is the fact a member might enjoy other post by a certain user so he doesn't want to hide or mute him.
Giving the Ninjas back their power and letting them deal out the punishment proved effect before the site update so why shouldn't it be effective now?
Bring back Polls: What happened to polls, they were a good way of judging the communities thoughts on a subject.
Stacking comments: Now that comments no longer stack in a chronological order the discussion value has plummeted in threads. Now there are one on one conversations amongst members that dominate the top of the thread. This leaves many comments unnoticed.
This is actually a personal one: Bring back the Flood, I know Bungie is trying to break free of its Halo roots but I'm sure you can find a way to call it the Flood without referring to Halo. Its description could be "Wade through a Flood of topics" or something to that affect. I'm sure you guys could think of something better.
I'm not very active in groups, but I know a large portion of the community has a problem with how the groups work now, so I'll let someone who knows what their talking about handle that issue.

Just because members complain about having to click one simple link to view replies to comment, does not mean that they don't/can't do it.
