Inability to download Halo files on the original site
Hello, on the original bungie.net site that is now dedicated to halo, (halo.bungie.net), I've found myself unable to download files from earlier Halo games. What I mean is, if I were to search up Halo 3 map variants and game variants that have been uploaded to the site by members of the community, I used to be able to download them straight to my Xbox through my windows live account. This is no longer an option as you can't log into the old site and thus can't link to your Xbox. It would be great if there could be some way to fix this as I still play Halo 3 with my friends from time to time online and love finding new maps or games to play. When I try to download a map or game on the old site, I'm prompted to log in with my windows live account. After clicking the link that prompts you to log in I'm redirected to the windows site then redirected back to the old Halo site. If I try to then click on download the same message comes up saying I need to log in which presents an unavoidable problem that needs to be addressed. Thanks.

4 RepliesWe recently made the switch to the current site from Bungie.Old so you can't sign into the old site anymore. Regardless of that, you haven't been able to download stuff from bungie's site for a while. Bungie dropped all support for Halo last year and the year before to 343 Industries. They have Reach's file browser on their site, but they don't have 3's. Sorry to say, you're out of luck. It's not going to be addressed.
