Maybe its just me, but it seems like the (Flood) forum traffic is practically nil, with the same topics staying up (with only a few replies no less) for days. This is silly. Ironically, if any one of us stops visiting the site, it will receive even less thru trraffic.

The only threads that get more than forty comments are flame wars. :/

The new layout is just discouraging to posters. Not much incentive to post, in my opinion. That, and the new options allowing for a customized user experience limits users ability to see all threads.
-
It's a ghost town. Add in the self moderated thing and you have a sub-community screaming in the dark to one another. Sometimes I think I've been mass muted or something. There aren't even any tumbleweeds blowing around.

This always happens. It's almost three years since Bungie's last game and Bungie has released very little on their new game. The only people here are permanent members.
-
IDK. they seem a bit slower maybe.

Edited by Endoterrik: 2/11/2013 10:10:49 PMI've have notice a larger drop in site usage as well. I suppose it's from either people not liking the new layout or the "Mute" button works very, VERY well, lol.

agreed. activity has sharply and significantly dropped since the 'update'.

Edited by Elegiac: 2/11/2013 2:39:38 AMit's not necessarily a bad thing, as it gives the quality threads a better chance to be seen amongst the retarded spammy threads and the teenagers who lazily post in them (for those of us who aren't using the mute option, that is)

I've noticed the forums being a little slower. However, I still see some prominent faces while I haven't seen others.

Edited by Verachi: 2/11/2013 2:05:13 AMIt does feel like activity has gone down.. It's still fairly active though.

Are you filtering or looking at the firehose? I currently see about a half dozen or so topics on the first page that would be considered (or close to the threshold) of "hot topics" in the old forums. A few with a couple of hundred replies. That's about what I recall being typical volume before (give or take). If a member is using a filter (or stacking filters) then they are seeing only the threads that meet their tag filter.
-
It gives me more incentive to use slowpoke memes.
-
its no wonder there isnt that many people on this forum when the only topics are religion, politics and gun control
-
I've been thinking the same thing.

It seems like the people on the forum are slower, if you ask me.
