George Foreman grills?
My apartment next year is actually a converted hotel room. There's a microwave and a small fridge, but I planned to bring a hotplate and a small convection oven. But what about a GF grill? Are they any good?

nope, unless you want to eat healthy, the fat and juices are what add to the flavour, they are all drained with a GF grill (bacon tastes terrible cooked in one). Luckily my ex thought it would be a smart idea to wash the electrical appliance in a washing up bowl and destroyed the slayer of bacon.
