I scan my computer every 2 days, and do a large scan every Friday.
What about you?
-
Never. I'm on a Mac.
-
Every hour
-
Rarely since I only go on a few different websites. Though I will admit one of them could have viruses on it, but there isn't anything valuable on this computer for me to be worried about such things.
-
Norton is always running in the background. "None shall pass!"
-
Once a week.
-
None since installing linux.
-
never, unless i think there's a problem. i'm confident Avast! will tell me if there's something that needs my attention.
-
I have it set to automatically scan every night. It's just a quick scan though, I never actually do a full scan. Damn my laziness!
-
Probably not as often as I should.
-
common sense dictates about twice a day.

Edited by Spartan Ken 15: 2/9/2013 1:40:27 PMIt says a Trojan was detected but it was quarantined/deleted so I am doing a full system scan now as we speak to make sure there is no other malware. No idea how I got it, didn't download anything.
-
Whenever I set my Norton to do it. I think every other Wednesday. Unless something seems suspicious, then I'll scan until I'm confident that I've solved the problem or it was normal.
-
Hadn't actually done one on this PC until now, but thought I'd do it just for the lulz. No viruses in around 9 months of having had this PC. I refuse to visit shady sites on it. I've set up a schedule for a monthly scan. Should be more than enough.
-
Once a week when I remember to do it but I really don't download anything nor do I visit any suspicious websites.
-
My AVG decides to do it everyday. In 5 years I've only had 2 viruses and neither of them stayed for more than 5 minutes.
-
I don't really download crap nor visit suspect websites so once a month is enough for me
-
Whenever my antivirus software decides to. I only would do a manual scan if I thought I had a virus.

Never. The only computer I ever use is my school laptop, where most sites are blocked by the Department of Education and Training or whatever it calls itself these days.
