Good God that was awful. Alex Jones went crazy. I don't how how Piers Morgan was able to keep his composure that long, especially at the end when Jones started mocking his accent. That was just unnecessary. I'd like to see an actual, decent debate with two rational sides to it on the issue. I get where Morgan was coming from, as civilians don't need assault rifles for personal defense. If it stops even 100 deaths it'd be worth it. Someone isn't going to run into a movie theater with a knife and kill 30 people. Jones made some sense until he went crazy for the better part of the vid. The problem with the Gun Control debate is that both sides are inherently flawed. On the one hand, giving every American a gun, or giving everyone access to them wouldn't necessarily reduce gun deaths, especially because a huge chunk of gun deaths every year are caused my misfires and accidents. On the other, the only guns left would be the unregistered ones, which means gun-related crime would be unopposed. The problem is that controlling guns is only a part of the issue. As Piers said at the start of the video, increasing funding for psychological evaluations, and requiring a psychological analysis before purchasing a gun is the best way to prevent crazy people from getting guns. The problem is people, and giving them guns or taking them away doesn't change the people.
