Family is suing for 250 million 250 million are you freaking serious? I know they won't get that but they shouldn't even ask for it. The boy is fine.

Suing for 250 million just becaus a kid found 5 dollars on the ground? Wow. Just wow. Faith in humanity: -10

The NYPD was being excessive in disciplinary action, but the kid sounds like a bully who needs to be spanked.

Edited by MurcSpyder: 1/31/2013 6:18:55 PMThey should have just water-boarded the little brat and called it a day."That'll teach you to find money on the ground!"

Edited by A Good Troll: 1/31/2013 5:55:34 PMEveryone needs to keep in mind the kid that lost the five bucks says that this kid and another forcibly reached into his pocket and punched him in the face for his money off-school grounds reportedly - which is why authorities were called and not the school. Source
That child gave a different account, telling the New York Daily News that Wilson and another boy approached him and both reached into his pocket before Wilson struck him in the face. Wilson was the worst bully, Seth told the News. He would call me names. He would punch and kick me. I wish they never took the cuffs off of him
Everything about this is ridiculous except for the idea that it happened in the NYPD. More than thirty-thousand sworn officers and some questionable practices are bound to lead to this nonsense. That poor kid, children look up to these officers and incidents like this don't help the children grow into law-abiding citizens.

The truth is always somewhere in the middle. I seriously doubt they kept him cuffed and interrogated for 10 hours. But, even if it were half that, any interrogation on the part of the police is excessive. And why cuff a 7 year old? Please don't say officer safety. I think the parents shouldn't be able to sue for that much. The NYPD has been excessive in the past, and none of those people got that much money (how much money did the guy they shoved a plunger handle in his ass get?) Damages should be awarded, if anything to punish the department for being excessive, but 250 mil?

Greedy person suing the NYPD for hundreds of millions. Not like I haven't seen this before.
-
What kinda policeman does that? So uncivilised...
-
Well they wouldn't just handcuff a boy for no reason. When he was with the police what did he do? No one even knows that.

This is 'merica. Of course retards are going to sue for nothing.
