So, Crysis 3 releases on the 19th of February for North Americans and today marks the release of their BETA for the game. It has two game modes, Crashsite which resembles a King of the Hill gametype, and Hunter which is essentially Flood/Infection.
Free to download and check out, so I suggest people give it a whirl. Some of their additions are pretty interesting and could make interesting additions to other games. I love the map specific kill streaks reliant on a kill-confirmed method of picking up dog tags (which isn't new to the franchise but will be to new players) and their new personal killcams at the end of matches highlighting your own personal best kills.
Its not for everyone, but I enjoy the Crysis multiplayer suite. Its a refreshing, different gameplay experience than the other games currently rocking the multiplayer world. Plus, there are just some cool ideas present (hell yes to parkour and sliding in FPS games!) that would make excellent additions to other franchises or new IP's.

Here's my take after playing 20+ games in the new Crysis 3 Beta: I'm not a fan of it. It plays like Halo and CoD got together and had a retarded child... I agree with OP on 90% of his points of discussion/opinion. I agree that it is a Beta, so there is work to be done still, but if this is the way it's going to be polished out, I'm not sure that I'll pick up the finished product. The controls are... hesitant. It seems like there's an inordinate hesitation between a trigger pull/button press. The armor system is backwards from the previous two Crysis games. And finally, I agree with the criticism on the new Stealth management system. Basically, everything i liked about Crysis 2 had been changed/removed in the Crysis 3 Beta, and the game is worse for it.
