I finally finished my Claire Redfield vest!
After looking for a red denim vest for the past year, I finally got one for under $20 online. All I had to do was cut off the sleeves and add the picture on the back. I'm actually quite pleased with it. This is the first time I ever actually (somewhat) made my own costume. I usually just buy them. Unfortunately I now have to wait till Halloween to dress up as her, but I'll wear the vest every now again by itself.
So guys, have you ever made your own costume for Halloween or a convention? Also, if you were to make one, what would it be?

8 RepliesI've never cosplayed, but my bf and I often talk about who I would go as on our future ComicCon/etc trip. I've settled with Ada Wong. I really would wanna do Tira from Soul Calibur...but I would not be able to make a good copy of her weapon.
