According to this Popular Science article, the more "cute" we find something, the more aggressive we become.
I thought that it was annoyance that pissed me off. Could it be that I actually find "you people" cute?

So kittens should make me angry?
-
SUPER CUTE! Baby sounds like crying and whining annoy the hell out of me. That's why I have to give myself a time out when dealing with my 13month old son some times..
-
Babies and Toddlers make me angry...I have a massive hatred for them
-
Then why are ugly women more likely to become involved in an abusive relationship?
-
*punches screen*
-
I felt that way about certain things. Like the baby clam from that one episode of spongebob. That thing pissed me off so much
-
So if I post something ugly, it will calm you down?
-
I have a frozen heart. I find nothing cute.
-
That is...odd, even if it is true.
-
I find that I want to hurt cute babies/toddlers. Idk why.
-
Awwwww. :3
-
Its because when you dawwww, you must then reclaim your manliness by being aggressive.
-
A lot of the time when I find something cute I just wanna squeeze it as hard as I can.

*Looks at hamster in picture, notices its a Russian robo-dwarf, gets sad* R.I.P Vito

They don't make cartoons like they used to anymore. I think John Steinbeck already knew this, you can tell from his tail, "Of Mice and Men."

Edited by Zizzy: 1/28/2013 8:44:22 PMI think it's more to do with pictures of cute things, than just cute things themselves. Also, that bubble wrap test doesn't sound too reliable at all.

Edited by Peacekeeper MX: 1/28/2013 8:21:46 PMThis is the first bit of oddnews i've seen you post on bungie.next feels like a milestone or somesuch tripe. More on topic though, perhaps we get aggressive because if something is cute, back in the caveman days it meant we could eat it real easy like?
-
I want to cuddle you, Recon...
-
It is not an aggressive hug
-
I just keep thinking of this.
-
Protective instinct? We gotta kill everyone, so that we can snugglies.
-
I haven't noticed any sort of aggression, personally.
