Please forgive the terrible picture quality I suck at computer graphics
Procedure:
1:Took the orginal destiny map from misriah soultions, a
2: Whited in the "random embossed dots" from the happy holidays card,
3: Whited in the dots from the one in seven tickit
4: Added grid lines
5: Placed the Crux constellation next to it
Analysis:
The Dots on the one of seven map appear to be a mirrored image of the constellation Crux
Conclusions:
Unknown

Edited by ServFPS: 1/27/2013 4:29:33 AMDoes anyone know what constellation is shown in the background of Marty O'Donnell's twitter page?
-
The Constellation is also visible form puerto princesa
-
Additional info - The constellation appears on may flags of the southern hemisphere - australia, new zealand, brazil ect. Maybe in Destiny crux is incorporated into the banner of the last city? I also read up that the Crux constellation has changed slightly through the years as the earth moves through the galaxy, so perhaps the image used is what the constellation will look like in the time of the game - 700 years in the future? I am trying to find a program that will help me see it.

Makes sense given that their game is set to take place through the entire universe now...but these are likely source images more than actual hints at a story.

Edited by Jump Into Hell: 1/27/2013 3:37:41 AMIt looks like it's flipped horizontally. Great find though. EDIT: I did a bit of scaling in Photoshop and found that the top "dots" don't line up. The one on the left is far too low.

I will look back on this thread when Destiny is released.

Wow! That's a cool find!
