No no, I'm not just posting another abortion thread. Let's talk about consistency about being "pro-life"
Being pro-life means every person, fetus or otherwise, has an equal right to live out their life, correct?
Then how come so many pro-life people [namely conservatives] are in support of the death penalty? The death penalty serves no purpose but to end someone's life. That flies directly in the face of being pro-life.
Similarly, if you're pro-life, you should support some sort of universal healthcare system. Every person deserves access to proper healthcare and it shouldn't depend on whether or not they can afford it. Not doing so also contracts the values of being pro-life.
So, pro-lifers - either accept these other values into your worldview, or admit that you're just pro-fetus.

Your logic is bad. The death penalty gets served to criminals who have done something truly terrible like murder someone. The baby is innocent.
-
Baby = innocent never hurt anybody blameless and pure Criminal = bad guy -blam!-s and pillages murders and violates See the difference?
-
I do. But you're still killing someone. Given that most people who're "pro-life" are all Christian'd-up, that's not a very Christianly thing to do. Given anybody else who sees it wholly on a moral basis, you're still killing someone. Eye-for-an-eye systems are not very inherently morally right.
