I already play guitar and piano, and for my birthday I want to get something that I'll be able to play without needing years of lessons. I am decent at both, and sing well, so consider that in any suggestions. Currently, I am thinking of going for the electric bass. What do the floodians think? Also, remember: I am left-handed. If you suggest an instrument that needs to be played one way only because it is asymmetrical, then make sure lefty versions are available. Playing right-handed is not an option.
