This just makes me sad. It's hard to not view Christianity as an evil religion. The people doing this knowingly is just as low as the -godwinslaw!- in my book.

Every group has their share of crazies. That doesn't make this acceptable, but it does mean it doesn't come as a surprise. Personally, I'm offended that those people associate themselves with the same religion I follow. It makes the rest of us look bad, even though the vast majority of us aren't like that.
-
Let the Ugandans do what they want. You people are pro choice, right?

Edited by tntbabin: 1/26/2013 5:17:38 AMThose people aren't Christians, they're hateful a$$hats that pretend they're Christian.
-
This is just sick.
-
OP, not all Christians are like this. Assuming all Christians are like this is basically the same as assuming all Muslims are terrorists.
-
Please don't judge all Christians by the actions of a few. Just as you shouldn't judge Muslims by the actions of a few.
-
What makes me sad is that they are just one group of people ruining it for the rest of us. We're not all bad people, you know. Just saying, OP.
-
i hope they know that every time I see this, I donate money to organizations like FFRF and pro-LGBT organizations.
-
There's problems with everything. OP, you think the problem here is Christianity, but there are horrible, awful genocides done by the radicals of almost every belief system. Hardcore Christians are doing this in Uganda, just like hardcore Islam followers are doing this in the Middle East. It's not Christianity itself. And, if you think atheism is so much better and more mature, do you then support radical atheism in China that kills and tortures faithful people?
-
It is truly terrifying to see that at the heart of the anti-LGBT movement that claims to simply want to preserve the sanctity of marriage is hatred. True, unfiltered, hatred. Also, everyone pay attention. This is how genocide starts.
-
Not as bad as Islam imo. lol cutting someone's tongue out for not converting. Stupidass muslims.
-
And naturally Christianity is going to take the blame for this, instead of the people funding the terrorists
-
I only donate to non-religious charities so that my money doesn't go towards such utter crap. Religion is the manner in which madmen gain power. They will start preaching and then unite their flock against or for whatever they want and cite something in a holy book as the reason for it.
-
This thread makes me sad, and not for the reason most of you would think. Btw: "Leaders?" LOL

Edited by Dustin: 1/26/2013 2:32:31 AMThere is extreme Christianity just as there is radical Islam. inb4 self inflicted rage
