The personal hygiene of spartans?(Halo universe)
I have always wondered about the personal hygiene of spartans. I have already gotten an answer to the restroom question and I am satisfied with it but I am still grossed out by one thing. The personal hygiene of there head. I have always wondered: how often do spartans get to brush their teeth, Clean their hair, clean their ears, and blow their nose? I can't imagine being stuck in a helmet while having to smell my own breath stench and the feeling of a runny nose and greasy hair all at once or even individually. What do you think about this flood? Do you think they have some space magic that fixes it for them?

2 RepliesEdited by Neanderthal 487: 1/24/2013 4:04:27 AMThey do not. All their teeth were pulled out when they underwent Spartan conversion. Thus, they are fed protein-rich gelatin through a tube. All their hair has been shaved off, so there is none to clean. Ears don't need cleaning because their bionic aural implants plug up the entire cavity. They don't blow their noses, they were removed as well. Why would you need a nose when you live inside of a metal suit? The BO would get overpowering quickly.
