Like do you say sir and ma'am and never disrespect elders in any way. Also do you help old ladies with stuff?

Respect is earned by peers, and given to adults.

Back in my day... There was an Underground forum!

Yes, I respect Marty.

Edited by Crash: 1/23/2013 11:07:45 PMI've never heard anyone call someone sir or ma'am seriously. Edit: I mean in just regular conversation.

Depends on the elder. Doesn't matter how old you are, if you're a dick... I wont be as inclined to help you with anything.

Sort of. I show respect to everyone, unless they give me a reason not to. That is not to say I actually respect anyone offhand though. I do genuinely respect some people, but certainly not everyone. Or even most people.
-
Why the hell would I?
-
I generally respect everyone - regardless of age, disposition, or appearance - until they give me a reason not to.

Teh puma doesn't hold respect for people he doesn't know. His respect is not given to someone simply because they have wrinkles. He generally treats elders the same as everyone else. If you do/say something worthy of respect then he respects you.

no just today i took driving lessons from what is generally referred to as a pedophile ring

Respect is earned, not given.
