I've seen hackers in virtual person in TF2 on a Valve server. Permanent crits and a text spamming script. I've also seen infinite jumps and invulnerability in Metroid Prime Hunters, and modded weapons which crashed the game in the first Borderlands. Resident Evil 5 also has some glitches and hacks for infinite healing items and ridiculous weapons.
Wut bout you, Flood? What games and what hacks have you seen?

Edited by Krimm: 1/23/2013 11:55:40 PMOnce in Halo 2 matchmaking. This guy effectively warped from place to place, could jump to the top of the map, and had a BR on full auto. At first I thought it was just lag. I knew it was otherwise when I saw him jump to the top of the map without a rocket launcher, then proceed to full auto snipe me with his BR... Also, his nick, 'modderNfat' was kind of a give away...

H2 matchmaking one spawn and auto sniper.
-
I think we saw the same guy on TF2. Was he spamming a youtube channel?
-
1337haxxxxx Anyways, I've fought plenty in Dark Souls. Won against them due to bleeding them out or kicking them off a cliff.
-
I have been in so many 24 hour nuke matches. If that counts. And all the guns were weird.
-
Combat arms. Where they would fly and knife and everybody died.
-
Good ole day back in Halo 2. Shooting trains out of plasma pistols.
-
Oh yes just last night in fact I was playing GTA IV free mode and saw a flying ambulence go by. I was like "Was that a flying ambulence"?
-
I've played against cheaters in a variety of games and honestly, I've never understood the appeal. It takes away the satisfaction of winning by breaking the game and cheating against others. I guess some people just like to watch the world burn. In those games with really evident cheating, I just don't care much. But, I honestly want to gripe against those using modified controllers. Talk about wrecking an even playing field and being difficult to catch. Those piss me off.

MW2. I don't need to say more. combat arms: If I had a dollar every time my team was killed from across the map with a single knife swipe, I'd be pretty freakin rich right now. Kuma War was riddled with hackers too.

Edited by Wyldfyre: 1/23/2013 10:34:08 PMAll the time. I don't know why people get so surprised about them. Most people don't even know what "hacking" includes any more. Used to have guys in Unreal Tournament series with InstaGib shock rifles and aimbots. That was just hideous. Ended up with thousands of kills a match. K/D ratios like 50/1. Still, that was quite fun. In Tribes, again, aimbots. A few smart people knew how to do more advanced stuff like unlimited jetpack fuel, no fall damage, faster firing weapons, god modes, etc... They weren't as common though and tended to be more subtle. They had Tempest though, community-known hacker banned from almost every server for extensive and invasive hacking. Met a few hackers in Blacklight, although none of them are subtle. They literally just stand in the open and as soon as anyone comes into the open, BOOM, headshotted. APB: Reloaded has them from time to time too. Probably more I've forgotten about, but they seemed the most prominent.

I've never seen anything in person.

I have seen Hammerburst/cosmetic hackers in GOW3
-
I love hackers, wish I knew how to do it though.

All the time back in the late nineties.

Edited by Decimator Omega: 1/23/2013 10:01:35 PMYeah, Metroid Prime Hunters. I actually kicked a hacker's ass once. No joke. He had this one hack where if he would run up to you and touch you, you would die. He ended up going outside of the map and lost the point. Now I was the one that's winning. I just hid in an unlikely spot, waited for the time to run out and won the game. It was awesome.

One does not simply call them self a gamer without encountering a hacker.
-
Unless he is live streaming and has himself/herself on screen at the same time then no.
-
GTAIV all the time.
-
COD: WaW multiplayer became full of people running around with the WunderWaffle after BlOps came out.
-
I think I saw hackers/mods in every FPS I played prior to Halo 3. I would get the newest FPS's and play them until the douche bags figured out how to ruin them.
-
Hmm in; CoD 4 Waw Mw2 Halo 4
-
Modern Warfare 2 on Xbox. I've seen quite a few of them on there. Move hacks, super jump, self-killing explosives, and unending matches are the most common thing that I've seen.
-
Yes I have.
-
Yep MW WaW MW2 Bl Ops MW3 Reach Can I prove anything? no Do I know what I saw? yep Very rarely, but they did pop up from time to time.
